Do I need to bring props?

We have nice stools, a wooden ladder, throne chair, apple boxes, a swing, and other seating options. Clients typically bring balloons, special backdrops, flowers, etc.

Does the make-up artist come to the studio or will I come to their location?

Typically, clients go to the makeup artist before the session and come to the studio after. However, we do work with makeup artists that will come to the studio.

Do you recommend any makeup artists?

Yes! We discuss with our clients the list of makeup artists and hairstylists during our consultation. All artists and stylists come high recommended from us based on personal experience and their professionalism.

What is the best time for an outdoor session?

Between 6am and 9 am (Sunrise) and 6-8 (Sunset) are great times because it gives a soft light on the client. When the sun it too bright it causes clients to squint and sweat easy. There are ways around those things but based on experience we believe early morning or sunset is the best option.

What are my background color options?

WE HAVE MANY COLOR OPTIONS! Grey is the most commonly used background however we love to use red, navy blue, yellow or teal. We also have different shades of brown which is great for a warm feel.
